The mission of the Indianapolis Society of the Classical Guitar is to support and promote classical guitar playing and musicianship in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. We achieve this by:
Hosting a visiting artist concert series featuring international and regional artists representing some of the top players from around the world.
Presenting opportunities for individuals to develop their own playing skills through open stages, workshops, and masterclasses.
Acting as an information center through social media and e-mail for all classical guitar activities in the metropolitan area.
Providing a venue for classical guitarists to discuss music, technique, performance, and other related topics.
Integrating the classical guitar into the classical music community at large.
